Union Leadership Conference 2012 Burnaby B.C.

Multi Logo.fwThis past week Union Leadership from across the country met in Burnaby B.C. to discuss the state of affairs with our memberships, current issues of concern, and shared initiatives and strategies for the future.
It was no surprise to learn that the concerns and issues of our membership here at local 131 are shared with our colleagues across the country.
Communication and collaboration amongst the Unions and locals that represent YPG employees is paramount in ensuring that we are representing our members in the most effective manner possible.
It is always a pleasure spending time with a great group of individuals dedicated to improving the working life of their membership.
A special thank you to Mike Semeniuk of IBEW for his leadership in this endeavour,
and to Jack Gerow and the staff of COPE local 378 for graciously hosting our meetings.
